The Summerland Steam feature five sets of brothers on their roster.

 

The series started with Tyson and Brody Conroy, and now we shift to captain Everett Scherger and his younger brother, Eric, a rookie goalie who has done very well in his rookie season.

The Steam are back in action tonight at the Summerland Arena for Game 2 of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League playoffs. Puck drop is 7:30 p.m.

 

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students/seniors and $25 for family packs.

The Posse took the opening game 7-6 in overtime. Scherger took the loss after making 12 saves on 15 shots after relieving Jared Breitkreuz. Scoring for the Steam were Cory Loring, Liam McLaren, Linden Gove, Cody Swan, Lane French and Mitchell Gove. Loring, Swan and Linden Gove each had two points.
