McIsaac signs with BCHL’s Vees

Nate McIsaac of the Summerland Steam has signed to play with the Penticton Vees of the B.C. Hockey League.

McIsaac had nine points in 44 Kootenay International Junior Hockey League games and had 20 points in 83 career KIJHL games. He also played in 15 KIJHL Teck Cup playoff games. 

Under the guidance of former Steam Head Coach-GM Mark MacMillan and his staff, McIsaac developed more poise with and without the puck.

“My time with the Steam was a great experience, making friends for life and the coaches taught me a lot about what it takes to move up to higher levels,” said McIsaac. “The road to success is through commitment and continuous effort.”

McIsaac, a Kelowna  also captained Team B.C. to a bronze medal in the 2022 Under-18 National Aboriginal Hockey Championship in Nova Scotia.
