STEAM SUMMER SHOWCASE EVENT!
STAY TUNED FOR DATES & INFO

Summerland

Summerland is a quaint town with an old English, tudor theme to its architecture, and it is a long-standing participant in the Communities in Bloom program in BC.  Nestled along the western shore of Okanagan Lake and surrounded by mountains and elevated vineyards and orchards, its scenery is truly spectacular.
It is dubbed the town of festivals and welcomes thousands of visitors and tourists every year.  In summer season a visit to the community offers the unique opportunity to ride a restored steam train along a section of the original Kettle Valley railway line; it is this popular attraction upon which our hockey team, the Summerland Steam, has been named.
The community is located just ten minutes north of Penticton and thirty minutes south of Kelowna on Hwy 97, making it readily accessible from the airports in these two cities.
